Hayze Perham grew up in Rotorua, New Zealand, and spent his weekends split between rugby union on Saturdays and rugby league on Sundays.
He made his NRL debut for his hometown club, the New Zealand Warriors, in 2019 and went on to play 35 first-grade games across the Warriors, Eels and Bulldogs before joining the Broncos ahead of the 2025 season.
In an unfortunate blow, Perham ruptured his ACL during Brisbane’s 2025 pre-season trial against the Titans in Toowoomba.
In just 30 minutes on the field, he impressed with a try assist, 62 run metres and 17 post-contact metres —an early glimpse of what he hoped to bring to the Club.
Since then, Perham has been focused on his rehabilitation and now has his sights firmly set on a return in the 2026 season.
